More Info on WarrantyWare  

WarrantyWare is an MS Access 2000 based product.  If you are currently using MS Access 2000 or 2002, you can purchase item CDW-1.  If do not use MS Access you can order item RTCD-1 which includes the Runtime version of MS Access.  If you are using a version of MS Access greater then 2002 i.e. 2003, etc. you can order RTCD-1*.

* For installed versions of MS Access 2003 or greater:  We recommend that you uninstall your version and use the Runtime version included on item RTCD-1.   If you are actually using MS Access 2003 or greater and can not uninstall your version, we recommend that run WarrantyWare on a dedicated workstation to eliminate any possible conflicts.     

The network version of WarrantyWare allows you to share the database on the network so that more than one user* can access the information.  Each user must have a licensed version of WarrantyWare running on their workstation in order to run WarrantyWare.  When determining how many additional licenses to purchase, consider the following:  In a three user environment, you would purchase the single user version (RTCD-1) for the first user, then purchase one license (NW1) for each additional user.   You can purchase additional licenses at anytime. 

*In WarrantyWare the number of users is not concurrent.  When the network version of WarrantyWare is started, the database is locked and no other user can open it.  Once the current user logs off WarrantyWare the database is unlocked.
